We provide targeted care based on exactly where you feel it: head and neck, upper back, shoulder or clavicle, mid-back, lower back, and elbow, hand and wrist. We also treat hip and leg pain, knee and foot pain, scoliosis, peripheral neuropathy, sports injuries and personal injury cases.
Dr. Moss earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta, GA and is celebrating his 10th year in practice. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, inspired toward healthcare by his grandfather, a highly respected doctor. Chiropractic resolved his own long-running health struggles after medication only masked them, and that experience shapes how he practices: listen first, explain every option, then treat the root cause. A chiropractic adjustment uses controlled, hands-on pressure to restore motion to a joint that isn't moving properly, most often in the spine. This can ease pressure on nearby nerves, reduce muscle tension, and improve overall joint function. Our spinal manipulation and adjustment services are built around this exact technique, tailored to each patient's exam findings and goals.

Most soft tissue injuries from a car accident improve within six to eight weeks, though full recovery can take three to six months or longer depending on injury severity, age, and how quickly care begins. Recovery generally moves through an acute inflammatory phase, an active recovery phase, and a longer-term healing phase. Because many personal injury symptoms develop days after a crash, an early evaluation helps catch problems before they become long-term issues.

Chiropractic care focuses on the spine's joint mechanics and mobility through hands-on adjustment and manipulation, while physical therapy focuses on rebuilding strength, flexibility, and movement patterns through targeted exercises. Many people with back pain benefit from one approach alone, and some benefit from combining both under a doctor's guidance, depending on the cause and stage of their pain.

Spinal decompression is a non-surgical treatment that gently stretches the spine to relieve pressure on discs and nerves, often using a specialized decompression table. By creating a controlled traction force, it aims to reduce pressure inside certain discs and improve the flow of fluids and nutrients that support healing, which is why it's commonly discussed alongside disc-related back and neck pain.

Tension headaches usually feel like a dull, band-like pressure across the forehead or scalp, while migraines tend to bring throbbing, often one-sided pain along with nausea or sensitivity to light and sound. Many neck-related tension headaches may respond to hands-on care like the approach described on our Head and Neck page, but migraines and any headache with sudden, severe, or unusual symptoms should be evaluated by a medical provider first.
Read articleA chiropractor is a licensed doctor who evaluates and treats problems with the spine, joints, muscles and nerves using hands-on techniques rather than medication or surgery. At True Works Chiropractic in Arlington, TX, that usually means manual adjusting of joints that are not moving correctly, paired with stretching and strengthening exercises. The goal is better function for your whole body, not just short-term relief.
New patients at True Works Chiropractic start with a $99 exam, consultation and digital x-rays if necessary, which excludes Medicare and auto accident patients. Beyond that, cost depends on your findings and how many visits your condition needs. We accept most major insurance and our team verifies your benefits before care begins. See the new patient special or payment options.
No. You can book directly with our Arlington office without a referral from another doctor. Some insurance plans and personal injury claims still require documentation, and our team prepares that for you. Request an appointment or call (817) 718-1052.
Most patients describe an adjustment as gentle pressure followed by a sense of looseness, often with a familiar “pop” as gas releases from the joint. Mild soreness for a day is normal, similar to light exercise. Some people feel relief immediately, others after several visits. If you are nervous, tell us — we never push you through anything uncomfortable.
It depends on your condition, how long you have had it, and how your body responds. Recent strains often settle in a handful of visits, while long-standing problems take longer. After your exam, Dr. Moss walks you through a realistic timeline with measurable goals so there are no surprises. Learn more in our chiropractic care FAQs.
Yes. We evaluate and treat auto accident injuries including whiplash, and we handle personal injury cases with the documentation attorneys and insurers require. Get checked early — soft tissue symptoms often surface days after a collision. See our accident injury treatments and personal injury FAQs.
Your first visit includes a consultation, a review of your health history, a hands-on examination, and digital x-rays when clinically indicated. Dr. Moss explains what he found in plain language and outlines your plan before care begins. See what to expect and complete your forms online beforehand.
